Africa (3.Night)

3. Night

I was told
the nightmarish tales
had never come to Africa -
the evening sky is always clear
the silver Moon is forever bright
all lives rest in
the tranquil dreams of summer night -
Oh Africa!
the cradle of life
the wonderland of children
and the bewitched
Enchantress of myth - who
never desired to wake up from
the moonlit innocence
of
Eden

  1. Poem for Beauty indeed - this is a excellent - it could be a spoken word poem, as it is very lyrical and flows so smoothly.

  17. Wow........that has me wowing. It's true that Africa, the great continent that it is, is the last remaining mystery in the world. One which is full of jewels.
