Abstract - reading Paul Klee (7. A Southern Garden)

7. A southern garden

A southern garden
was sliced
into segments
by an abstract
mind
in search of
innocence

  1. Yuni, these are stunning-as playful and imaginative as the paintings themselves. These poems reflect so beautifully Klee's simple quest to get to the essence of things.

  3. "An abstract mind in search of innocence.." How I long for that return! The returning of that mind while innocence alludes me lost somewhere in my past.

Your poems enthrall me Yun Yi. I would love to see and hear the Mandarin translation of this one.
