Abstract - Reading Paul Klee (22. My Traveler's Ambition)

22. My Traveler's Ambition

My traveler's ambition
does not coordinate
with geographical routing, but
psychological
twists
intertwines with
a reversed
timeline - days
and nights
my traveler's foot-
prints, penetrate
the depth of
mind

  1. I have enjoyed your previous posts on Klee and this is another. It's almost as if Klee were painting your words.

  3. What a wonderful poet you are, yunyi! Most artists in the 20th century became explorers of the internal rather than external world. They left portraits and landscapes behind and dove into their minds.

  5. i must add, np, that the late 19th and early of 20th century is my favorite time period of western art history, because it was the time that many artists were "explorers of the internal world", as you put it.
