September

September—
there’s a gentle voice in the wind
reading
the faded green of late summer;

there’s music
sneaking out
of a leafy garden, betraying
my secret desire
for autumn.

Sign of Blue

The painting of the cloudy sky
was created
senselessly
by a single impetuous brushstroke of
grey, where
life grew involuntarily
striving for
the faintest hint
of
 blue

Night Fog

Walking in a foggy night
my weightless thoughts
 are drifting effortlessly
towards
a timeless dream

Majestic Pine

December
the chemistry between
my ordinary self
and
a majestic pine
once again
struck
amidst the
coldest winter
air

June, I Said Hello to the Sun

When the first wave of summer heat came
in June, I set out alone
to greet the Sun

I wanted to see how far the horizon stretched
I wanted to know how tall maples and pines grew
I relished the exuberant green
I rode on swift gusts of wind

The dandelion on the sidewalk - whom I secretly loved
nodded to me, unaware of my ambition
the roaming clouds - whom I adored unreservedly,
joined my journey. not knowing my destination

Oh June, I said hello to the Sun
telling her that I was ready to write
another song of
myself

The Scent of Gardenia

The scent of gardenia
sneaked out from the shadows
collided with my morning ramble
spilled joy
all over
the leafy garden of
May

Lush Green of May

Peace
is depicted by
the lush green of May
overflowing
from a distant field
into
the tender heart of
Spring

The Bridge That Crosses Over Time

The bridge that crosses over time
stands on a solid
two dimensional ground
unperturbed
by its sundry earthy desires ---
time flies
river runs
bridge remains, and
embraces

Village

A spontaneously painted village
is a conscious touch
over an absentminded
valley ---
wisps of smoke wind along
pond reflects, like a wide open eye
oh, landscape is just awakened
so am
I

Life

life, by design
is confined within limited
dimensions, yet
imagination strives
to go beyond
disregards the eternal torment of
irresolution
between the comfort of
confinement and
freedom of
uncertainty

February Sky

February sky
opaque, like a piece of
frayed canvas,
stretched silently
behind an old stone bridge -
underneath
weeping water runs
for
centuries

The Mood of August

The mood of August
swung
capriciously
as summer rain struck
at
random
a grasshopper
is complaining
about a damp
backyard
wondering
how it feels like
to sleep
quietly
in the dry
air of
Au-
tumn

Absent-mindedness

Absent-mindedness
is a sheet of blank
paper, folded by
hands of a craft-man
into colorful
geometric
models of
some absent-
minded
ness

Laziness

Laziness
was initially a dance of Tango
mis-stepped into Blues, yet highly
satisfied with
every unintentionally
mismatched
move

Love (Is A Portrait)

Love (is a portrait)

Love
is a portrait of
swelling heart
framed with
infatuation, hanging
inside a room
that has no wall to support
such weightless

The shadow of a pine tree

Light or dark
is decided by
the shadow of a pine tree, who
stretches her arms
ahead of
an ordinary
day of
May

Tulip

Sitting beside a tulip
scrutinizing the afternoon
my thoughts slid
into a laziness
that once pervaded over my body
nurtured
a fresh dew at sunrise

Woke by the morning Sun

Woke by the morning Sun,
my memory hungers
for a long lost melody
refreshed by
dewdrops ---

Woke up before dawn

Woke up before dawn
my dream escaped…

Running through the mist
morning hesitated
to cover up Stars
the Moon
and a sliver of
traumatized blue
